IN JUST 10 DAYS…
AIDEN needs to make his college tuition payment and renew his apartment lease. But recent inflation means that the rent for his once semi-reasonable, one-bedroom apartment in Austin will be $400 more a month. He has searched for other housing options, but there is nothing more affordable in the area in such a short time frame. Aiden needs help paying the additional $400 in monthly rent through the next semester to be able to pay for college tuition.
ALLY will celebrate her nineteenth birthday and move out of the emergency shelter in which she currently resides. Before aging out of the foster care system last year, Ally lived most of her life in foster homes. Now, to have a strong start to her new life, she needs assistance for the initial move-in deposits and expenses.
THE SOLAS FAMILY needs to pay rent. They have spent their entire savings to ensure that their daughter, who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer six months ago, receives the best medical care. Both parents have spent much of their time at the hospital, unable to work. They are now three months behind on rent, and the landlord has served a final notice for payment.
Step Up, So They Can Step Onward
Just 10 days will mean the difference between being at home and becoming homeless for these members of our community. And we have 24 hours to step up!

The Step Onward Foundation intervenes in crisis situations for young adults and families who are affected by housing insecurity or find themselves at risk of homelessness. We accomplish this by providing education, housing, wellness resources, advocacy and mentorship through sustaining partnerships with individuals and organizations in the communities we serve.
