Sunday Funday and Help Keep Families Housed in Houston

Core Programs

Education. Food. Housing. Counseling.

Mission

Step Onward’s rapid-response program addresses housing insecurity & homelessness via direct support for individuals & families who face chronic or sudden hardship.

Every week, families in Houston face eviction due to sudden hardship. A missed paycheck or unexpected medical bill can put everything at risk. Step Onward provides rapid support that keeps children in school and families in their homes.

We also walk alongside young people who have experienced homelessness or come from a children’s shelter, investing in their continued education so they can build futures defined by stability and opportunity.
